What does the Parent Guild do?
The Parent Guild is a volunteer-run organization in which every parent and guardian of an MCDS student is automatically a member. The Parent Guild builds community by sponsoring activities and events throughout the year that bring us closer together.
Events Include:
- Family Picnic & Socials
- Winterfest
- Movie Night
- Fine Arts Festival
- Spring Roll
- End of Year Carnival
- Monthly Assembly Coffee
- Staffulty Holiday Party
- Staffulty Appreciation (pies at Thanksgiving, meals during parent/teacher conferences, and more.)
A Parent Guild fee is assessed every July to each MCDS family to support these community-building events, including our annual used uniform sales, pie & poinsettia sale, plant sale, and spring carnival. The fee helps sustain Parent Guild activities and faculty appreciation.
